Good deal on Emps?

Ok so I have come across a deal from an online vendor for Emps for $8 each, free shipping. From all my research I know this is a good deal, and since i can find very few locally and none less than $15@ I am planning on taking advantage of the deal. Any advice on what to do when they arrive. I am planning to order a m/f pair. How long should I wait before introducing foods? Just basically seeking any advice for starting things off right.

Try to have their setups already completed before arrival. Give them a few days to settle in before introducing prey items.

Im hoping to put them in one tank I have a 10 gal. thats pretty much already set up, and will eventually move them to a 50 gal. or at the very least a 20 if i can get my hands on one again.

Ten gallons is fine for a pair. As Brandon said, let them settle in a bit before offering prey (a lot of people offer on the first day and panic when they don't eat).

Thanks guys for all the great info and help and encouragement. It will probably be another week or two before i can order them but as soon as i get them ill be sure to post lots of pics.

i have a 20 gallon wide for my pair, only because i want plenty of room in case fights break out and i need to buy a divider. :p

tarantulainc.com email them and they will send you a complete price list. I think there may be one on this site somewhere. I am pretty sure i found it on here at one time or another. I am still waiting to get the "extra" cash together to get mine. Im hoping Santa will add the money to my paypal for me lol hint hint if anyone would like to donate lol

They told me $20.00 shipping. Which still isnt to bad.

THey have a free shipping option but wont do it with the weather so cold right now cause it takes longer to get them. Guess Ill be waiting til spring unless i can find some locally since the weather has turned colder here and everything

15.00 is about average price. thats what they are around here.
