| Ok so finally ive had one of my lot molt, my sub adult male "bill" molted this morning whilst i was at college, from what i can tell he didnt have any problems. Heres a pic of him and the female i keep him with, you can easily see how hes grown compared to her, they were the same size last night: how long should i leave it before feeding and handling? And should i put the female in another temp enclosure? They seem to be fine as it is, the female is really defensive over me going anywhere near him so i think ill just leave them to it unless there is some bigger picture im not seeing | |

| A few days, keep an eye out for the other one. No need to separate, unless they are constantly fighting or if she's gravid but she won't be because she's not adult yet. What instar are they both at? | |

| They aint fighting at all, shes turned really defensive if i go near him, like she knows hes vunerable (i think thats how that words spelt anyway) And honestly i have no idea, they were both just classed as "sub adults" when i bought them, which i gathered from the brown creamy coloured sting, thats all i really know sorry. | |

| From my experience, most scorps do get very defensive after a molt; very stingy and floppy | |

| My male does the same thing with my premolt female, he's *very* protective of her. Nothing in the world could provoke him to sting before, but now when he's near Tank (the female), he won't hesitate to pinch and sting. (Fortunately for me, my reflexes are better than his. XD) | |

| Its funny cause his body grown a little bit but his claws are about half the size of the females body now. I think its about 2 weeks i need to leave him before feeding and handling again right? | |
