| looked it up and it seems that agar is a substitute for gelatin for most food recipes. Can i use gelatin powder instead? | |

| well, i cant find any gelatin at the moment, but i will get some next time i am at the store. What is the desired consistancy of the gel? should it be like hair gel of like jello? wiggly? should it hold its shape if i were to (hypathetically) pour it in a mold? using agar agar that is.... | |

| The main goal is that crickets won't drown in it . . . so if it's solid enough that they can walk on it, then it should be fine. | |

| I'm starting to test gelatin water with my feeders today. I'll keep everyone posted on how well it works. One quick note though- it's a bit stinky. XD | |
