hi...now that i've got a picture of my Hmac, i want your help guys to determine the gender of it....

i read it as female...but of course i want your opinion.....just to be sure...

I know very little about external sexing, but from what I do know, I'd guess female.

I'm much better when looking at an exuvium. Smile

going on the wide gap between the 1st pair of book lungs I'd also put my money on female

but as mike said exuvium picture would be better

I love this species, I have a female here XD

Looks like a female on the grey and dark color variation between cephalothorax and carapace.

My bet is on female as well. as lise said, quite a large gap between the booklungs.

Yes! It looks like an epigynum...A sharper picture would be appreciated!
But i'm basing this on only 1year of experience with sexing tarantulas, it's quit difficult .... cyclops

this species is very dimorphic from what i understand. i believe only the females take on that white colouration, the males remain greenish. could be wrong, but that's what i am told, so regardless of any ventral sexing guesses (which i think is a gamble anyway), i'd say female...
