| I have two LQ's at approximately 3I and about 1 inch; I have them in a deli container currently with a solid, not opaque, lid. Is this inhibiting the proper heat from getting to them for growth? Also, is it better to feed them roaches or, are pinhead crickets better? Also, because of their size, should I pre-kill the feed or, allow them to use their skills? Please advise

| Why not stick a thermometer in there and check the temps? Small roaches or pinheads will do fine. Just let them use their venom to subdue their prey. They'll take down prey twice as big as themselves with ease | |

| I have a thermometer around them and I will put it inside the container instead. Thanks for the reply. | |

| A solid, but not opaque, lid? Could you clarify?
Regardless of the lid, unless you have them in heavily-insulated deli cups, plenty of heat should be getting in via conduction. | |
