Eddy was the only guy I knew who was good at sexing this species, and now he's offline until further notice. Sad

Also, a lot of Buthids can't be sexed on pectine size alone -- you usually need a tooth count, and many species have some overlap.

Pectinal tooth counts (PTC): Male- 31-36; Female 26-29. Pectines generally greater in length, with longer, more numerous teeth in males. Basal piece in males narrow allowing the basal pectinal teeth to touch or overlap. Basal piece wider in females, with shorter, less numeorus teeth; basal pectinal teeth do not touch or overlap. Males are typically smaller, thinner and less robust than females because of reproduction requirements.

I going to get a better shot and/0r wait till after they molt. The one pictured, appears to be male; the other, who I also have a shot of, has overlapping pectines so, it would be female. If this is the case, look out Twisted Evil

If it were mature, I'd say female based on the lack of overlap. Get a good macro of the pectines so you can count it or take a look at the exuvium under a scope when it molts.

Will do, and you are right on the money. The other one pectines overlap as the picture will show at the end of the fiber from the substrate shows.
