| Do emporers have only Median eye's or do they also have lateral eye's? I dont see mine often and when i do its only for a moment or two so i dont get a chance to look close. Ive also found out the scorpions anus is at the base of its tail before the telson thought that was kinda weird cuz I thought it would be near the pectines. lol strange  | |

| yes, emporers have both lateral and median eyes. they have 3 lateral eyes. (on each side of the carapace) | |

| Well depends on sp but i strongly belive that P. imperator have lateral eyes.. scorpions have 2 median eyes and a range from 0 till 5 lateral on each side , in troglobitic sp they can be very reduced or absent.. and yes i mean 5 lateral eyes its not a spelling error  | |
