| Here's another one of those "had this for awhile, no idea why I didn't post sooner..." Delirium got me this little beastie (thnks again), my favorite member of the genus Androctonus, tying in with mauritanicus for the its matte-like finish, but bicolor has the gloss!!! For this one, a one of kind DIY enclosure; and a closer shot of the interior The ceramic-claypot shard serves nicely as a hide. Unfortunately, this one came with the black spot (no discredit to Delirium). I expected as much for desert imports in Asia. Retailers here are mostly (generally speaking) IGNORANT.... Mycosis or no sis, I'm still grateful to be a once-in-a-lifetime owner of this species that I once only knew from pictures in books... Cheers Eric (De..) | |

Thanks Sam I dun think cochlear still active in SF but would be great if he's back with us The ideal way is still by pectine sexing but I believe in general (not necessarily for all), male a. bicolors has a more significant "Fat tail to body ratio" although females tend to be larger in overall size.

| Hi GS, Thanks for the info! I own several myself. Longecarinatus and Aeneas morphs. But i still have trouble 'sexing them from above". That's why i asked. I do like this one on the pictures as I do like your movies (GS) which are, if I may say, very well put together. High entertainment value It is nice to see people who actually have them, enjoying them and spreading their experiences with them instead of bloating and telling people what "killers" they are. cheers s | |

cheers s Hi pluto, Glad that you like my vids & thanks for kind words. I'm still learning more about them every single day and its a pleasure to share experiences with fellow hobbist. I'm not sure which morph my bicolors belong to, maybe you can help I've posted a few pics in Androctonus discussion thread. Feel free to post yours and chip in for discussion. Oh Yeah.. Welcome to SF! Its one big family here Cheers, GS

| thanks for the kind words GS... and for bumping my old thread... evidently this one has gone on to greener pastures awhile back. Keeping desert species in countries with naturally high humidity is a bit troublesome as far as mycosis is concerned. but thanks all the same...
Cheers and best regards
