| D. spitzeri - I have one - Male about 3-4" of substrate, no warmer than you would keep Heterometrusdamp but not wet substrate, water bowl - but it will probably fill it with substrate all the chuffin time! My one is happy in a 6" critter keeper. light mist once a week They make some fantastic burrows with about 10 entrances! And they regularly build new tunnels to fool the crickets. Regular reliable eaters (1-2 crix per week) Good reliable scorpion | |

Ta for the advice Lisa we'll have to look out for some females The problem is that females are soooo hard to find. the females pretty much stay very close to their burrow and the males wonder. so when people go and collect them, 99% of the time they will pick up males, unless they are extremely lucky and stop a female bolting underground. I have our Mr Goss on the look out anyway | |

| Which of the Euscorpius species are the one found in Kent? You know, the one's that Bill Oddie once hunted with a black light in a Harbour Wall ? It was shown on a Nature program, though not Springwatch.... They are nice little Scorps, Kuma | |
