| Hi all, I'm probably being stupidly paranoid but these little guys are my first ever T's so bear with me I got both of my slings almost 2 weeks ago and set them up in small tupperware tubs with some coco peat and vermiculite, a plastic plant and a mini hide made out of a plastic leaf leaning against the side. Both slings have made their homes in the hides and have built little tube webs there. They are both eating well so far, but one is very secretive and I only catch glimpses of it at night while the other has started to sit at the entrance to it's tube all the time. I should mention that as soon as it's disturbed it shoots back into its hide,.. but reappears again 10min later... Is that just a difference in 'boldness' or is there something that I'm not getting right? | |

| the T is fine. different individuals have different personalities (although it appears all psalmopoeus don't move.. they teleport) if the setup is the same as the other one and the other one is doing fine, the other T is ok. | |

| lol slings can be funny little things... we have about 20 slings at the moment, several are the same species and they all react differently. Some of the A. iodius will come out for a stroll as soon as you open the lid of the film cannister (so cute!), some will shoot to the side and pretend to be invisible!!! AS mentiioned above, if one is doing well the other will be fine Good luck with them and you can never ask too many questions, thats what we are here for. | |
