Scorps don't ever become "tame," some are just calmer than others. When one's calm, it lends itself more to handling, and the appearance of tameness is easy to perceive by a handler.

The general consensus is that handling should be avoided, but if you have a calm scorp such as Angie, it's a good opportunity to help people overcome phobias and for public outreaches and demonstrations . . . just don't overdo it for the scorpion's sake.
