| here's the story, last week we got our on line cricket order, when we put the crickets in their cricket keepers, and I was about to chuck the egg crate, I spotted 2 egg sacs. No idea if they were alive or hadn't survived the journey, I decided to incubate them anyway and hopefully give the little critters the chance of life. Anyway looked in the holding tank tonight and peered into the tub, and the sac's are hatching. We have about 50 or so crab spiders running about the tub, more still hatching. been told they are probably Thanatus vulgaris, quite a nice looking sp. So anyway, i'm going to rear them. I am trying to find info on them at the moment, never really had anything to do with true spiders so any advice and info would be appreciated will try and get some pics tomorrow, that should be fun lmao... they are about 2mm big! | |

| I honestly have no idea if they are native or not, I haven't had chance to have a proper look for information yet.
Anyway I managed to find some small pin heads in the end, and put a load in with the crab spiders. LMAO this morning it was absolute carnage! there are loads of headless crickets littered about the tub! these little fella's were tackling crix upto 3 times their size! I have to say I'm impressed!

| yeah they are pretty cool. apparently the sp. I mentioned above are not native, so they may be something else. I feel a guessing game coming on here along with my other true spider lmao!
kinda feel a bit dumb knowing very little about UK true spiders lol!
