Warm.

Humid.

Vertical climbs / hides.

That's pretty much it.

Vertical hides are a must since they are needed for molts. I heard a cooling period helps with these guys not sure how maybe with mating I'm not sure.

cant be any simpler Smile

although make sure you always take uneaten food out pretty sharpish, they dont always give you a clear indication if they are going to shed and I lost my last one to crickets eating it in it's soft state.
I'd only had it 2 weeks as well... not impressed!

I was told at my pet store variegatus I just told them to find me some kind of tailess whip scorpion I just wanted one and they called me back with that name. It is getting delayed a week though Mad I'm annoyed their supplier in Montreal said it will take an extra week to come because he had to go through a different breeder.

I can't wait to get it. I'm fascinated by the way they move and the claw like pedipalps I'm really stoked. Anyone know the lifespan all the websites I went to said it was unknown.

I got an adult female . . . um, in January of . . . 2007?

*thinks*

Yes, January of 2007. She's molted two or three times in that span and is still alive and well.
