Some people are really picky with sending during cold weather, however it is more than warm enough to post at the moment especially if using a heat pad.

i thort that . so if hes is that picky now i cant think he made much over winter lol

I seriously wouldn't keep them communal in captivity!
They have a reputation for eating each other. I know there are plenty of sites where they say they can be kept together but from personal experience, and recently Leon's personal experience this really is a no-no.

i kept two in a 3ft tank and they still ate each other! So do yourself a favour... save your money and get one. or if you want more keep them individually.

There are instances where people have got a couple to live together but this is incredibly rare.

i have read so meny care sheets and every one is differnt so i think i will go with pepls experiences over care sheets with eny scorps i get in the future lol

looks pretty ok. for once they dont recommend damp substrate!!!!!

I would use sand personally... crix etc will hide under bark / wood chips.

they do occasionally drink from a water bowl. I used to have a water bowl in mine and mist the cooler end of the tank once a week in the evening. she used to drink from the droplets when she came out.

By the way, on that sheet, ignore their warning about venom. Hadogenes have some of the weakest venom of any scorpions, with LD50 values as high as 1800 mg venom / kg body mass.

lol they might as well have water for venom! it's rather pants!

I got stung once and had to wait a few minutes before I felt enough to know it wasn't dry.

it sorta tingles a little. I kinda like it.

i have never been stung by eny think so when people compare it to a wasps or bees sting
i cant realy compare it.

now i have sed that you watch i will get stung lol

I got stung by one bee doing a "beard o' bees" last summer -- a bee sting hurts like hell for ten minutes and then you're fine. Feels like someone driving a hot nail into your flesh.

I gto stung by a dead wasp when I were younger. it was stuck in jam on a bench and I put my hand on it.

heheheheeheee i trod on a few before... got stung on the toe... that hurt...
but i have never had a sting from any scorp so i dont know how they compare...

lol in my eyes scorpion stings like a scorpion and a bee stings like a bee

my little dude arrived today hes is so small i opened the box poked him with my finger cus i thort he was a doa n he grabed my finger lol

Those things are buggers to get off too one they are on ya, I shave mine a shove and a shake and it still clung on!

If that wood is pine, change it out for a hardwood. Softwoods contain resins that are harmful to most arthropods.

lol i no ...and they have relly good grip as well better than emps
