Another vote of "WEEEIIIRRRD!!" here! Very Happy

A friend of ours had an Avicularia try molting like a true spider; you know, hanging by its legs from its web about 18" above the substrate? Razz

The owner put a large pile of towels underneath in case it fell.

Haha, it was indeed odd
Before this i always read online that their T molt upright and i hope to see 1 myself
Never thought that mine will do that haha!
It was odd though because i thought large T takes more than 5hours to molt but mine molted so fast
Oh ya, he is 4inch before molt btw

molt ing time varies from individual to individual
My first B.smithi molted into adulta in about 10 minutes, wy G.rosea took nearly 24 hours lol

I've only ever walked in on a handful of molts in action, and they were all on the back.
