| I've noticed that my H. Spinigerus has spent a lot of time in its water dish when most of the water has dried up and the stones are just wet.
Any idea why its doing this because its not like it needs high humidity.

| mine also do this sometimes, i guess its a humidity thing, even arid scorps have relatively humid burrows and hides in comparison with external humidity. | |

| yeah i suppose, makes me wonder if i should mist under the hides after all but either Mr Mordax or Abyss (cant remember which) told me it could lead to mycosis. | |

| If you have multiple hides, mist (lightly) under half of them. Then the scorp can choose. | |

| yeah ive only got 2 hides one on the warm end the other on the cool end so i might try misting if he/she continues to run about in the dish. Funnily enough when i bought it it was hiding under the sponge the shop had in the water dish, maybe it just just likes being in the dish | |

| This species doesn't get terribly large; you may have an adult.
To sex it, look at the pectines . . . /\ = male, / \ = female.
