| This is the 20 gallon full of coco fiber with the cubby hide I made out of cork tiles. The hide will go inside the tank of course, but the idea is that it will allow me to see the scorpions when they are hidden inside. | |

| Close-ups of the hide This is the individual containers housed in the top drawer of my dresser Here are a couple shots of the scorplings...sorry they are so blurry...best I can do with my phone Dinner time Close-up of red morph Close-up of chocolate morph I'll post more pics as I get the enclosure more put together. I'm working on the background now. Let me know what you guys think...this is a different approach from the natural looking tanks. | |

| Moved out of ID section. Looks pretty cool -- I'm assuming those tiles are reinforced, and not held together by gravity? | |

| I was wondering about the "openness" myself . . . but if your scorps don't like them, I'm sure you could do something similar but with narrower gaps. Maybe parallel pieces with a small space in between? We'll have to wait and see what your scorps prefer when they mature. | |

| Ahh...good idea...my ultimate hope is that it will allow me to view them while they are hidden. Making the "open" part smaller could probably help them feel more secure. I'll try this set-up, as I like the pyramid shape, but if they don't take to it I'll try that.
Thanks for the input...every bit helps because this is a different approach to scorpion hides. | |

| Definitely will do that. It will take a bit til they are old enough to put together. I hope to get the background going this weekend and can at least get some pics of that soon. | |
