| Here's the pic of the setup: i know the sponge is useless for the waterdish, im in the process of sterilising some gravel to put in there. Anything else i should change the substrate is calci sand or something about an inch or so deep, i was gonn take most of it out so i can heat the tub from the bottom. Will i just spray under 1 of the hides every so often incase it comes up for a moult? EDIT: I just remembered when i looked at it in the shop it was hiding under the sponge in the wtaer dish (it was bone dry btw) and i was just thinking if they dont need to have a water dish will i just mist the sponge for a humid hide? | |

| sorry I was in a hurry I just glanced at the pictures. Looks good I just reccomend you add some peat to it. A peat sand mix is better with these species since theyre not exactly desert species. | |

| is there any harm in misting under a hide just to be sure.
Are these guys burrowers at all?
Cheers.
Soz for al the questions i just want to get everything right cause this is my first real juvenile scorp other than my flat rock and i dont want it dying on me during a moult.

| I would just NOT mist it. You can cause mycosis and such. Just let it be it'll be fine. Just add some peat like I said and feed it whenever it actually eats. It might stop eating before a molt. | |

| Mycosis is a fungal infection. Too much humidity for desert species seems to be a factor in its appearance.
These don't burrow, but they will dig out a scrape underneath something.
