What creature is more toxic then a scorpion?

That is a land creature?

iunno... invertibrate? reptile? what? spoze maybee a black mamba or brown recluse?

I wouldn't put a recluse as more toxic. Maybe wandering spiders? Large snakes like a Momba or a King Cobra. I don't have a chart in front of me so I'm not sure.

They're the only land animals I can find. LQs lowest LD value is .25, the Mojave rattler is .23 and the King cobra is .13.

Okay another chart lists a ton of snakes with the Oxyuranus microlepidotus (Inland Taipan) as .025.

Aren't some Latrodectus more potent, drop for drop? They inject tiny amounts and are still potentially fatal.

And if I lived somewhere where an elephant might step on me on accident, I'd want pretty damn powerful venom too!!

Most toxic scorpion in terms of venom potency is the deathstalker, Leiurus quinquestriatus. In terms of human fatalities, it's the southern fattail, Androctonus australis.

But you cant use LD50 values anyway.. you shouldnt count on them or use them in anway..

Yeah, it's pretty useful for ballpark estimates. I wouldn't conclusively say "it will take X milliliters of venom injected into my (skin, muscle, vein) to have a 50% likelihood of killing me," but looking at the numbers are good for making rough comparisons between venoms.
