| Is there anything special I have to do when they shed like turn the light off/down? I've a heat pad in the mail and I'm hoping it comes soon to add some ease to the situation b/c I would assume they don't like coming out into the light to shed. I also got a large glass ashtray that I'm using for a water dish instead of the smaller deli container-like thingy I had before - don't worry, it's clean.
I've two stinkin' mice now that I gotta take care of b/c I can't feed him. | |

| I agree with Venom, Spray down lightly a couple times a day till it sheds. If its eyes are clear feed the snake. If they are still cloudy then I owuld wait. Often snakes will shed right after feeding. The lump seems to loosen the shed and aid in its shedding. This is usually when you will get a nice full shed piece as well... | |

| Spray to raise that humidity nice and high till the shed appears. Dont feed at all, imo, til the shed is done (ie off the snake). Check the shed after for the eye caps and tail end, to make sure every bit came off. Good luck, post some pics up after for us to see your shiney new Ball | |

| she started shedding yet? if she hasnt, wait untill her eye caps go clear again and ten give her a bath they usually have a succesfull molt within 24 hours of the bath that way if shes already started shedding then you may aswell leave her as upping humidity wnt make much of a difference once the process has started lol | |
