| cheers peoples. I'm aware I'll probably die before the brachypelma does anyway, I'm well pleased, the b.albiceps is enjoying some mealworm slices. he will be mega fat tommorow. I'm keeping him at the hot corner of my invert drawer so he will grow a tad faster. the P.cambrigei is just setting into a new tub, last one wasn't tall enough for an aboreal. | |

| Aww, cute li'l fuzzbutts! That P. cambridgei will get a new leg as soon as it molts -- and it looks pretty well close! (Or just well-fed.) Lori had an A. avicularia sling completely regenerate a leg in two molts -- one molt it was all there but skinny, the second molt it was as if it never happened. I should be getting an A. moderatum this week. | |

| good luck with Everyones new T's! I think I'm mainly after dwarf species seeing as I don't have very much room in my room anyway, I think the Cambridei will moult pretty soon, it's not doing very much atm; the others have fed and setup camp. I wouldn't be surprised if it moulted right this second. and I hear these are fast growers too, yay. | |

| nah, It's decided to web up the tube, So i'm happy. Still think it's gonna moult soon.
and the Blu - tac is holding the lid on. the lid that came with it was too tough to put holes in so I got some thin plasticstuff and spent an hour putting holes in it with a tac.

Haha, I know. I dont mind scorpions. Tbh, I dont mind T's. Baby T's a quite regular spider-like though. Bit more scary. I really really want a T, partly as I think they are very interesting animals, and partly because I want to over come my arachnophoia. My flatmate wont let me though - scorpion111 wrote:

I know! I want one, as explained above. B. smithi would be awesome

| just dnt tell your flat mate, is he a bit on the girly side? just get summat like a G.rosea or any of the brachys and he would probs never evn know it was there, or tell him its a rare species of scorpion that doesnt have a metesoma or telson lol | |

Haha, no, all my animals are in my bedroom. She is arachnophobic too... but, doesn't see my reasoning. I say: we should get one, and over come out fear. She says: no. LOL. - lycanlord wrote:

I am very tempted to you know. I have even had offers of a FREE g. rosea and set up from someone on RFUK, but as of yet, I have declined. I am going to talk to her soon, see if I can persuad her again

| why is she against them? I mean its in ur room, and you have scorps, and the chances f a rosie or a brachy escaping are ridiculous i mean they cant climb they are useless lol get a Pokie lmao
And yeah sorry to assume your flatmate is male, I probs shouldnt makes me look slightly homophobic lol

| I honestly dont know why she's so against them. I mean, yes, she is petrified of spiders... but, I am scared too. And exactly: thats what I have told her: they wont be escaping! No more chance of them escaping then the scorps. Haha, actually, the other day my other flatmate called me to the stairs. I was like "yeh, whats up?", she said "erm... whats this?". It was one of the morio worms! I went back... and from a full box, two are left. The others are around the house somewhere, having chewed their way out :S Eek!
And no worries! lol. I wasn't offended. In fact, surely assuming I lived with female flatmates might have been more stereotypical? lol. I do anyways... 3 girls, and me.
