| I'll talk about dogs and scorpions. I voted "no" because scorps primarily act on instinct and you can't raise them like you would a vertebrate because scorps don't have emotions like they do; i.e. you cannot pet a scorp and make it feel happy (AFAIK anyway). BUT you can, however, train a dog to be loving; not an invertebrate. Where I'm getting at is that it's not the scorp's fault b/c they're just doing what they've been doing since the beginning of scorps' existance, and will move steadily with that until the end of time. You can pretty much mold a dog into what they're going to be like, as with a child. Scorps are pretty much like untrainable robots. If you contain them well (scorpions) and treat them with the uppermost respect, you won't have a problem. It's a LOT easier for a dog to get away from you and bite someone due to their size/speed than a scorpion. Dogs also have multiple windows throughout the day when they go outside, thus increasing the risk of them getting off of the leash/chain and attacking someone. So, yes, dogs are more dangerous than scorps, IMO. Anyway, those are my mixed thoughts about this | |
