| I've had my little LQs for more than a month now and I was wondering ... When should I expect them to molt if being kept around ~80F during half of the day and ~75F the other half? They've also been eating fairly well; at least once a week.
Thanks! | |

| Or if someone could tell me when their little guys molted ... That would work as well | |

| Maybe I should keep the 75W heat lamp on the top shelf with them? | |

| That's probably about what the temps would be doing it that way. Problem is, I only have one heat lamp, so I have to keep switching it from the P.imp/B.jacksoni 10 GALS to my bug closet and I keep my hots at the top of the closet. Below the LQs in the closet are: 1 gravid Bothriurus sp. 1 B. albopilosum 1 G. rosea Bunch o' crix They should be fine at room temp. It's usually not cold in my room anyway | |

| Could be. I've had five second-instar H. judaicus that were born in May (yep, never molted in all that time), and THREE of them just recently molted close enough together that all of them had the same faint level of fluorescence when I checked. | |

| I'm with Mike. I have 9 2i H. judaicus and only two molted. That was a few months ago. I call them factory freaks. I'm sure you will have a few stubborn L.qs that won't want to molt. | |

I can relate with one of my B. jacksoni. All 5 of mine (4 now due to cannibalism) molted within a couple of days of eachother (if not the same night). Then at 4i (?) one of my males refused to molt until nearly 2 months after the rest did. He was always smaller than the other BJ's. I consider him to be the runt of the litter | |
