C. Sculpturatus or C. Exilicauda Empty

I need to know this once and for all. I've read different things and have been told different things. From my understanding the C. Sculpturatus is the Arizona Bark Scorpion and the only different between the two is the venom and location. The other day I was look at some technical documentation it continued to reference the AZ bark as C. Exilicauda and everyone still calls it C. Exilicauda. If anyone can clear this up for me I would appreciate it.

They were different species . . .

Then they made them the same species (exilicauda) . . .

Now I've heard they're separate again . . .

And I also heard the "gertschi" form is its own species now . . .

But I've never seen any scientific community documentation on it; I've only heard stuff on the boards. I'd love to see an official published newsletter that references this.

Notes: Centruroides sculpturatus Ewing, 1928 (Type Locality: Tempe, Maricopa County, Arizona), and * Centruroides gertschi Stahnke, 1940 are junior synonyms. Recent DNA evidence suggests that C. exilicauda and C. sculpturatus are distinct species (Gantenbein, Fet, & Martin, 2002).
