| Hey, I like beads, scrap-booking, and knitting as much as the next guy but I don't typically patron a fine establishment like Michaels. Nevertheless, they do carry some useful items when it comes to servicing our all-too-tragic scorpion obsession. I bought: - Resin - Resin catalyst - Latex paste - Resin treatment - Soap making molds - White paint - Felt sheet (black) Whats all this for??? Only this: Our dead scorps deserve better damnit. Have any of you embarked on such an endeavor? How'd it turn out? -Chris | |

| I tried to resin cast a P imp it worked but had flaws due to inexperience of casting and the size of the scorp.
GL! Keep us updated on your endeavors... scorpion soap now that’s a novel idea. |

| The resin at our local store is kind of expensive and requires lots of ventilation, so we haven't gotten around to it just yet -- but we've got a freezer full of dead bugs waiting to try it out on.
For scorps I just pose them and soak them in acetone for three days. | |
