| yep. if it doesn't produce any offspring, you could try and breed her again. | |

| she MIGHT not have been gravid at all. could have just been well fed from the shop.
wait a little while and if nothing happens you can always try to mate her
but broods are big. I have 32 (the bad moult one is still alive) scorplings

| If you've had her for a year and a half, she would have popped by now. That's the upper limit on their gestation. | |

| ^I concur. I have a female (different spp.) that I think may have reabsorbed her embryos -- if I can't get her to regenerate them, I'm gonna try to pick up a male. | |

| Just wait it out, dude.
If you've had her by herself for 18 months, she'll either pop soon or not at all.

| could be, but the best way to "see" inside is to shine a torch through the membrane at the side (they grey skin-like part) in the dark, and see it there are any white blobs. this only really works when the scorp is really close to popping though. | |

| I don't see the blobs very clearly, but like I've said before, the membrane on these species is too think to see embryos very easily. If you've had her for 18 months, and she is gravid, you're reaching the extremes of their gestation limits. Here's a good picture of a gravid Centruroides vittatus -- the embryos are much more visible than they were in my gravid Heterometrus longimanus. | |

| ok so i think you guys miss read him he has only had this scorpion for 6 months, Not a year and a half. I think your going to have scorplings in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Keep up humidity and up the temperature a couple of degrees and that should speed up the proses\ | |

OH! Ok, then, yes, probably going to pop soon. Sorry, I read it backwards as "year and half," not "half a year." <-- Mike being dyslexic. Sorry if I confused you, junshern.

| if it was me I would really pour and spray on the substrate and then cover the tank, but with a nice GAP for air flow...I did this with my female and 3 days MAX later she popped.
But...if she IS thinning down...well you can but keep your fingers crossed
