| Sense I don't have my scorps just yet I figured I would go ahead and share all my animals. Here is my cat...Kitty Van Winkle. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] My finches...Stars and Zebra [img] [/img] And last but not least my Congo African Grey named Elmo. [img] [/img] There is also 2 pugs, a husky, and another cat that thinks she is a Lion. | |

| Yeah, she'll be two in March...I got her when she was 6 weeks old.
I work at a local pet store and work only with parrots all day, we have around 40 parrots at any given time. I got some great pics of my "pet store" babies...when I buy a house I'll be bringing home 3 Macaws. | |

| After seeing them shear through almond husks in Costa Rica, I'd be hesitant to put my finger anywhere near a macaw's beak. | |

| I dub you the bird lady! Do any of your birds talk to you? That would be awesome. Personally, I've never owned any birds aside from pigeons and ducks and my parents used to own a privately-owned pet store back in the day | |

| Awesome collection! you can be the resident bird-specialist. I hear the greys' can learn quite a vocabulary. aren't the supposed to be the smartest of birds? | |

| The birds talk to me all the time! Elmo, my Grey, will come find me and then ask "Whatcha' Doing?". When he is in his cage and he want to come out he will start yelling "ELMO COME HERE" at me. The Greys have the IQ of a 5 year old and most other parrots have the IQ or a 2 year old...and it shows. Some of the things Elmo does is unbelievable it's so smart. Hahaha...everyone calls me the Bird Lady, be it some call me the "crazy" bird lady! | |

| Haha! Yeah we have 2 macaws at the store that know how to say a few "colorful" words but thankfully he doesn't say them very often. I have a mouth on me, but I watch it around Elmo...I don't need him asking me "where the [bad word here] is my [more bad words] cracker" ! Hahahahaha! | |

| It's sad though when birds learn bad words because they live soooooo long (50+years) many of them out live the original owners and there are a lot of horror stories of things that have happened to some of these birds that had dirty mouths told by people that were able to save them. I've heard of people leaving them for dead in houses when they move because of language issues, and the stories get worse from there. | |
