| For the past couple of weeks I have been noticing that my female P. imperator is unable to move her left claw. I have offered her food and she does not want to eat, I have touched her claw and it still does not move. Although her right one works fine. The left claw just seems to hang there....
Any idea as to what is going on? | |

| I've seen it happen before, but it was in a male that was on his way out. | |

| Just wait it out and wait to see what happens. If she isnt suffering old age she might just continue on as normal. A scorpion can adapt. If she is OK and not eating then that is 100% normal as scorpions do fast.

| She is about five or six years old. So maybe it is old age. | |

| from what I have read they live 4-8 years so it could very well be a geriatric issue. | |

| the pandinus imperator is usually the first love. She had a good LONG life!
I know its sad but she was well cared for, well looked after but old age has taken her now.
