had to add this...

I fed the WD's some squats last week. however they didn't manage to eat all of them before they burrowed under the substrate.

Today the flies started emerging, and I have been giggling my socks off all day watching the WD's concentrate on a particular fly.. which involves their tail flicking like a cat does when it's about to pounce. then leaping into space and landing all over the place. they're even catching the flies mid flight.

I have never fed squats to my WD's before and it is so amusing to watch now the flies are about! Especially when they jump off a plant or bit of wood and belly flop into the water!

I have no idea what a squat is, but that sounds thoroughly amusing. Razz

Post a vid!

squats... little maggots, cant remember the exact name of the fly they turn into. We get them from fishing shop.

Anyway we'll be getting some more this week so when the flies emerge I will try and get a video!
