| If any of those are yours, I have a feeling as to which ones won't be hungry when they arrive. Awesome, dude. | |

| I need to buy more LQs. Only having 3 of em doesn't cut it. Has anyone here held them? I have one that's really calm and I've been dying to try it.
Disclaimer: Do not hold LQs. They are very dangerous and can cause serious health issues if you are stung. I'm an idiot and that's the only reason I've considered this.

| Greeeeaaaat! I've just read this in Wikipedia: - Quote :

That's lovely. I have the heart condition MVP, also known as Mitral Valve Prolapse. Hopefully a sting won't kill me ;x

| The way around that, Brandon, is to not get stung. I've only ever been stung twice, and it wasn't by MS species, because I wouldn't put myself in a position to be stung by them. (However, I could have easily had an accident when I was packing some A. mauritanicus a few weeks ago -- just use common sense, is all ) | |

| Well, I'm already used to my aggressive little emp stinging at everything in site with lightning speed, so I think that I should be good to go lol. I also have 11" tweezers, so I'm good if I need to do any maintenance in the enclosures | |

| I tried using 11" tweezers to pack A. mauritanicus -- did you know they can use the muscles in their metasoma to launch themselves like a tiny venomous projectile?? | |

| I was more like: Then I was relieved that the delis I was shipping them in were within a larger tank, so they couldn't launch themselves very far. | |

| I have a feeling that I'm going to go to bed around when the sun comes up as usual, and then I'll wake up when my scorps get here (probably around 5-6 hours of sleeping), and I'll be half-awake when I unpack them. That wouldn't be good. I'll just look at the through the containers (being cautious of any air holes they could sting through) until I'm fully awake. I don't have a death wish ;x Anyway... I went out and bought some fine black aquarium sand and got the hookup of deli containers since I know people at this quick shoppe grocery store I used to work at. When I got home I filled all 5 of them with ~1" of the sand, poked 9 holes in the tops with a pencil (hopefully that's enough ventalation --- seems like it), then I broke a clay pot and set ~1" pieces on top of the sand and angled/buried them slightly. The cups are ~4"x4". Keep in mind they're 2i-3i. Does everything sound alright? Btw, when I went to get crix today, the kid didn't even bother counting them properly, so I ended up with a few extras in larges and probably a dozen extra in pinheads | |

| Those setups sound pretty good to me. Probably a good idea to wait until you're fully awake to unpack them -- maybe grab a nap first? A 2I probably wouldn't be a big deal if it tagged you but it might be a big deal if one escapes. | |

| I got my scorps about an hour ago and everything went well! None of them showed any signs of aggression and WOW are they small! About the size of my pinkie nail! They're healthy little guys. They were very well packed. I'm definitely giving EVIL_DWELLER an A++ review for this transaction. Hopefully I can get clear enough shots of the little tic tacs with the cam later! They're sooooooo tiny lol. I love the way their mesosoma is shaped. Way too cool | |

| Somehow the sand is blocking the entrance/exit points under the pieces of clay pot and they're inside... is that alright or can't they get out? I was thinking of propping it up slightly with some pieces of cork board. | |
