| UNIQUE ANIMAL EXPO AND PET FAIR
Location: Washington County Fairgrounds Hillsboro, Oregon
Date: February 23rd and 24th
Time: 10 AM to 5 PM
Entrance cost: $7 Adults $4 Seniors $3 Kids 6-12 Free to kids <6 w/ paid adult
"The Unique Animal Expo is open to the public and trade buyers. We offer 114 vendor booths. The Exhibit area is setup so that Live Birds and Supplies are in one area, Live Reptiles and Supplies are in another area, and Live Mammals and Supplies in another area. Through out the whole area is Animal related Merchandise."
I've been to this event at least four times -- usually a great tarantula selection, so-so scorpion selection, and sometimes they have myriapods as well. (The main focus is vertibrates, but there's enough inverts to make it worth going.) | |

| once upon a time, i bought a beautiful scolopendra gigantea for $50 at that show. its great show. im glad its still goin strong

| i sure did. i was soooooo stoked!!!!!!! the animal was like 10" long. i had it for a couple years and i went to visit my dad for schristmas and while i was gone, my mom accidentally killed just about my entire collection... including my gigantea. i was friggin pissed!!

| The show was awesome -- I've never seen that many scorpions at a con before (last time, this one had one lonely little V. spinigerus on a table full of tarantulas). They even had five or six deathstalkers.
