Got a new one!

I went to a HUGE pet store about 45 minutes away from where I live and they had a few T's there, so I decided to pick up a G. Rosea. I know, it's probably the most common sp, but I couldn't resist and I didn't have $130 to shell out for a T. blondi. They had 3 of these girls, so I asked if I could see them all and pick which one I wanted, so I did. I got the copper-colored one. She was the biggest of the 3. Hopefully she doesn't turn out to be a psycho-rosie!!! She attacked the piece of cork board that was in front of her when I brought her home. I guess that's usual... Oh and I got her for $12.99. Hopefully that's a good price. I'm not too familiar with T pricing, as this is only my 2nd T.

I got mine for 10, but compared to other store (20 dollas) that's a good price.

Mine was copper at first but then it molted and turned ink and shiny!

Well they were selling smaller ones for $12.99, too

The curly hair that was there ( probably not even 2" ) was $40. I got the same size one for $20.

The T. blondi there was about 5" @ $130.

Grr... I wish I would've had some sunlight so I didn't have to use the flash. I hate using flash! It always drowns everything out in whiteness...

LOL Connie. I actually considered naming my first scorp fluffy or cuddles b/c it would shock people to see such an "ugly" (beautiful to me) creature with a cute name like that

I don't really name my animals. Only ones I named are my first scorp and T. First emp's name is Spike (even though I'm pretty sure it's a girl lol [4i]). I named my B. albopilosum "Dozer" primarily because she's always rearranging the substrate. It's funny whenever I rearrange her enclosure because all day she'll be coming out a mouthful of peat/coco

I was too scared to hold my rosie since she pretty much attacked the cork board. Nope.. lol.

There was this big yellow anaconda at the pet store. I wanted to get it, but it wasn't for sale since they rescued it when it was little and they take it on road shows or w/e.

I've confirmed that it's an adult male.

Do they usually rear up and attack things that go near them? I was nudging his legs with a piece of bamboo and it started biting the hell out of it. I'm scared to hold the damn thing now!
