last OBT sac hatched today

My last OBT sac was laid on 7-23-08, and 21 days later the sac hatched out 84 slings.
I have kept all three of my sac in temps of 80 to 85 degrees, some days it was as high as 90 (only when the temps reached 100 outside). The backroom doesn't have any central heat or air back there. So it's perfect for keeping desert and tropical scorpions and tropical T's.

Anyways, here is the total of slings that were produce from the 3 OBT sacs
1st sac, 87
2nd sac, 118
3rd sac, 84
----
289 total

but i don't have all of them. From the 118, half of that is 59 that goes to my friend david on a 50/50 loan. From the 87, Ron bought 82 ( lost 5 from that batch). So that leaves me with the remainder of 149 slings.

i am going to keep a few in a communal setup. From what i have read, heard and seen on the internet, these guys will do fine as long as they cam from the same sac. Plus i am going to do this with P, regalis when i get a sac from my female.

I have them all seperated already, in 2 oz deli cups ( since i didn't have enough viles). I was told by a few people i seperated them too early. But have you tried collecting them after they are molted to 2nd instar. They are fast as hell.

No, one just hid in the other's burrow.

I actually got two freebies yesterday and discovered a little bit of that nature when rehousing them. (He only made it halfway to my elbow.)
