crickets. they smell like dog sick. and stinkbug defensive liquids.... here is some advice, never leave a small unfed box of crickets on a windowstill that gets full glare of the sun all day. and dont leave them there for 3 days......
it is th worst smell i've ever encountered in my life.

well they don't smell that bad if you don't leave them on the windowsill for three days :p

i know. i went too stay at my aunties for the weekend. i didnt realise where i had put them. when i walked into my room i almost colapsed.

i have a tub full of them. pluss, there are the beetles roaming my room. i hate them. mow i know what that funny taste is when i wake up in the morn.....

Depends on the conditions. Too much moisture and you'd have a moldy goey pile of goo that used to be a grape.

An escaped iguana behind a wardrobe for three months in the warmest room in the house stinks pretty bad!

The smell drove me nuts, took me ages to figure out where smell was coming from. I disinfected the inside of the wardrobe 3 times before it dawned on me to look behind it!

I too have made your mistake. I went on vacation with my girlfriend and left a tuberware container with 50 large adults in it and when I got back all of them had been dead for a few days. Right when I opened it I almost threw up. SOO now I breed discoid roaches
