| Gert asked me to post a few of my enclosures, Here is the most basic one I have as I will eventually move my Hottentotta adults into one bigger enclosureCocofibre, sand and clay mix. For hides i split the coco fibre block into slabs and then put two small pieces on either side of the tank and then one long piece over the top. They seem to love it and once in they push sand up on either side and seal the entrances I use aluminum mesh for the lid to ensure there is full ventilation and my weekly/fortnightly drinks do not cause a humidity buildup | |

| Left to right,Urodacus yaschenkoi-Desert Scorpion or Inland Robust Scorpion,Urodacus novaehollandiae-Coastal Burrowing Scorpion,Urodacus armatus-Yellow Sand Scorpion, all adults. Btw,I usually ignore common names, most australian scorpions have had Sand or Desert in their common name at some point. Urodacus yaschenkoi and Urodacus armatus are found in the same areas, with Urodacus yaschenkoi occupying the open sandy areas and Urodacus armatus occupying the heavier soils under outcrops of plants etc. | |

| from this to this. Useless for fish, but those self cleaning tanks are great for setting up a small false bottom enclosure for scorps | |

Do you have a link to where you get the mini fish tanks from? I'm intrigued. | |

| I bought 15 for $10ea from a cheap imports shop, that was all they had,and they havent had them again. I did get a spam email with them for $5ea a few months ago but missed the deal, now I cant find them cheap online at all. These were packaged as "my fishy friends - self cleaning tank" and I've found "my fun fish - self cleaning tank" online which look the same, but they're not cheap, Woolworths & BIG W advertise them on ebay for AU$33.50 pick up,way too much! I search for them every now and then,If I find a good deal i'll post the link. | |
