forget a bed some of those scorp vivs look cozy enough to bunk up with em.im sure they wont mind sharing a burrow as long as i bring the crix.

caresheet for Shiningemetrus Markimus

a minimum tank of 6'2''L x 3'w x 3'

use fabric softened thick dark cotton linen such as blankets for bedding,approximately 5'' in depth.enough to burrow under a layer and have some cushion.

keep at 80 degrees f and a night time drop of negative 10 is suitable to produce natural desert temp periods.

light cycling is unnecessary as the shiningemetrus markimus covers its eyes with its susbstrate when ever it needs the dark.

feed pizza three times a day and an occasional cookie for a treat.

needs to be taking out for a walk to during the night for moonlight basking and to use facilities when the shiningemetrus becomes listless and makes ill mannered gestures

Thank you they are my fav tanks got them from a local pet shop but they had foreign labels on so they wasn't from the uk

I've similar ones locally, but they were over 100 eur each, and had the regular plastic lids, not that nice glass ones.

All the set-ups are looking sweet Bex, and good to see you got that room going finally, no more worries with space now. I'm jealous

Bex don't even go into feeding times lol it drives me insane. I swear I'm just constantly feeding scorps and T's these days, don't get no time to photograph and show them off any more Kinda why I've had to hold off getting the royal python at the mo aswell in fear of over doing the work load! I can easily spend a whole night, watering and feeding, infact I probably couldn't do them all in one night I just sort of rotate them around and make sure they're all good. Might be the fact I can't just chuck the food in I have to tweezer feed and watch them kill lol

Quick count up tells me I have 35 jars, not including tanks, tubs and pots lol

If I have to poke one more hole in a jar I'll go NUTS!!!!!

Nope wouldn't make a big order like that again but I'll keep them trickling in, you know that lol right I have 57 seperate enclosures/pots/jars housing scorps/multiple scorps/T's.

58 scorps, 12 T's, 3 beardies, 2 tiger sals and 2 staffies

Got 35 scorps from him mate and only casualty I've had is a couple got hungry for siblings lol not one natural death.
