| nah i did set it up and have commented n a few of yours but today i tried and it said in the main bit it was connected to messenger but it wasnt letting me post?? i dunno why?? and yeah its up to you but we use a coco fiber sand mix with more sand about 70/30 as the way i see it they live in a wall they have no contact with soil or anything that perticularly holds humidity atall so am scared of putting them to close to moisture, i know that the E.flavs from other places may be burrowers and stuff but ours deffo are not lol you should get down there sometime and see for yourself not one of ours has ever burrowed and tend to prefer sitting on whatever rock/brick piece/bark there is in the enclosure. what are yours doing we have one that will go under the brick but hang upside down so they are not touching the substrate at all... | |

| I didnt know we had a thread for this kind of stuff lol.
Why thank you, Tom. It is just a bit of work, but not too hard. Even I can do it. Although having the right tools helps.
They are nowhere near the quality of bought enclosures, but I need to make them custom made to fit into my cabin. Otherwise I would go buy some too.
They glue it together with CHCl3, makes for neat seams. Dressing the enclosure up is completely your imagination, mate. I am sure you will have some for it. | |

| that's good, if you want a more specific fit than the fauns.. like you said. they also look far nicer, you did a great job. are you going to refine the design at all? you could change the lock type thing, i would never have thought of doing that myself | |

| Well, Im no real detail addict so no I just keep making them like this. But in different dimensions. The lock thing is no more than a rubber spun between the lid and the walls and a hinge on the other side. I am not planning on changing that. It is supereasy and superfast. Rubber off, rubber on, done with it. It is safe. Let me tell you, if a scorpion or spider can get that open, I do not want to meet it As I'm not really a fan of glueing acrylic parts to acrylic enclosures (it breaks easily imho) I keep using nuts and bolts lol | |

| Most women like brawny hands mate! There is more important stuff. Besides, it has more to do with your temper than your hands | |
