Thanks Bex... not really though, they're just small-sized aquariums off the shelf from the shops, but they don't come with lids so I have to build my own tops for them. Cheers and best regards.

I found some of pics of old D.I.Y. enclosures that I never posted.

This is a 3 compartment terrarium with a plexi-glass lid for 3 species of bark scorpions: -

R. junceus, B. jacksoni & B. gigas

I left this enclosure amongst many others in the care of close friends in the hobby when I left KL.

The permanent enclosure for that gravid H. arizonensis pallidus, notice the sand mix is insanely good at keeping light moisture which should be amazing for the birthing process.
Also shows the mother to be hard at work.

Haha, yea it looks ominous but its well in there, and that sand is really rigid.

Cheers, it's from Argoos On sale third off, twenty odd quid. Nice because the shelves are adjustable. Usually these adjustable ones are silver but liked the black powder coat on this.

Well it has been quite some time since I last poster and I just got my original Emp back a week ago. She is my first scorp and I have had her for almost a year now. I just finished setting up a new home for her a few minutes ago and figured I would share the pics.

The above view showing Krytter, the skull I picked up from wally World(Thank's Employee Discount), a log hide I snagged from Petco, as well as some terrarium moss I added.


This is the front on view. The eco-earth coconut fiber substrate in 6 inches deep all around and 7 inches deep on the side with the log hide. The moss is zoo med all natural terrarium moss.


This is just a pic of Krytter before I started working on the special set up. I call it special because it is 1000 times better than her old home.

the skull is dead cool. i like the naturalistic look in vivs. like cork, a discrete bowl, like those damn expensive exo terra ones.
will get a pic on when i get some more animals. i have a bunch of tanks though lol

I use the zoomed reptirock water dishes. They're cheap, resistant, and the green ones are perfect for tropical setups.

i saw those, are they not very plasticy? as in PLAH-STICKY. they look awful shiny.

Not really. They look surprisingly natural for plastic dishes.

Got this one drying out at the moment.

What species are the inhabitants of that tank?

Wow jay that's awesome, why sand do you use? I can always tell yrs by the cool orange colour lol what you got going in there? Is it a nano too?

Cheers! This is for my beloved Hadrurus arizonensis. The sand is about a third ex clay with the rest just that red desert sand from the rep shop, think there was a bit of normal sand in there aswell, started to run out lol it's the size up from the nano, mini I think, 12"x12"x12". For some reason they don't sell the wide nano here only the tall for like arboreals.
