I just found this site while sitting on AB so I figured Id show my pedes some attention on here.

When I first got an adult S. subspinipes, I discovered my "creepy" threshold.

Those feather-tails are awesome. That first S. subspinipes is a real beauty, too.

Got a freebie, Heros at the bbq yesterday. And polymorphas are EVERYWHERE here.

I love centipedes big and small they are very interesting and take great pcitures if you got a good camera unlike my crappy one. Im trying to get more into scorpions though much cheaper and cant escape from everything like pedes.... I got like 3 small polys loose in my house somewhere from months ago. Im more worried about brown recluses in my house though ..

Here is giant scolopendra.

Those are alot more expensive and harder to aquire.. I think only 2 guys in the US have a gigantia.
Heres a large subspinipes I have, it has ate 2 mice in its life time with ease. Though I normally feed it crickets, mealworms, and roaches. Its a little over 8" without antenna and terminals.

I think these are lovely to look at but seriously couldn't keep them... yes they creep me out too!

Very nice specimen . . . I'm waiting for my S. subspinipes "Hong Kong giant" to mature.
