Major Pandinus revision

Hey guys, for those of you who haven't seen it, there's been a massive revision of the genus Pandinus, with many of the subgenera being elevated to genera.

Meanwhile I still haven't gotten a chance to look at the 2009 revision.

Naturally the damn thing is largely in Italian, so I can't read it. So, can anyone speak Italian or otherwise explain the reasoning as to what specific "morphological evidences" and "previous phylogenetic and molecular studies" warranted raising the subgenera to genera? It would be much appreciated.
