| Pardon my ignorance, but when looking to purchase a new specimen, what does the term "sling" refer to? Just curious. | |

| Hello!
Sling is a term for a baby scorpion or spider. Taken from scorpling or spiderling. Scorpion slings are very young specimens 2 to 3 instars old. 4th instars up would be considered as subadults until adulthood at 6-8 instars. | |
