Nice! I have bred these guys a few times and they are by far my favourite Uroplectes species.

When we searched for them with UV in the rocky areas, they were sooo many, it resembled the stars in the sky...it was amazing!!!
We have got 4...i never bread scorpions...have you got any suggestions?

We also have collected two other Uroplectus but we do not know whither they are the same specie...will post those on later stage...

UV lighting is the best when there are so many!
U.carinatus is the easiest of all the Uroplectes to raise in my opinion, over there where you live you can just keep at the conditions that nature provides, so no extra heat needed and a winter period is always good for them. You can keep them in a container that is about 3 times their legspan or larger with a hide or two and that's about it. Water is probably the most important with these guys, you dont want to wet their substrate as this will kill them, just spray a few drops of water against their container's side and they will happily drink from that, you can do this once every week to two weeks.

You can also keep an adult male and female together in one container and feed them once every week.
