Here's some more pics, it's hard to get good pictures of them, they come out blurry for some reason.
Maybe the pattern messes up the auto-mechanisms of the camera

The two pics on the KK lid look like the flash was turned off, which unless you can play with the manual settings, means a blurred picture in all but the best lighting conditions. The one on your finger I can tell that the flash was on -- if you can raise the aperture setting (designated with an "f" on a lot of cameras), it may look less washed-out.
