Introducing Wookie, Androctonus Amoreuxi

Hi!

As some of you know, my H. Arizonensis died earlier this year.
The store was kind enough to give me credit but I had to wait 6 months before new desert sp. arrived.

They thought it was. L.Quinquestriatus, but after examining the specimen, I concluded A. Amoreuxi.

It was worth the drive, the most menacing agressive scorpion I have encountered, very powerful and super fast. WC from Egypt. My heart was stuck in my throat but made some close up pics.
It moved in the newly decorated tank which housed my sadly departed P. Liosoma.
I hope the new tennant fares well!

gryllus assimilis field cricket... very big, and very powerful.
Mwaahhh about a third of her size she handles it very easy.

Man, that is either a really big cricket or a really small scorpion.

The scorpion is quite big actually, the cricket is 1/3 it's size, but the close up perspective will fool you. It a big cricket by any standards I think. She loved it, and now has burrowed under the rock where my little Solo used to Live. So I hope this will be a positive change.
