| Since my female P. imperator has molt and even since I made the enclosure I haven't seen her. The male usually has her blocked in the tunnel. Well I guess she got tired of him not sharing food. She finally came out and she was huge and very skinny. I tossed her a cricket and she almost cut it in half and was even quick with the sting which I have never seen her do. What was cool is she actually missed the cricket and drop venom everywhere at least 3 or 4 drops. Very cool. Any of you guess experience this? | |

| Actually i did have something like that happen but in my case she didnt miss and she ended up eating 6 crickets and didnt eat for another month. Wat i do is make sure all the scorps are away from each other when feding them cause the males can really be greedy with the food and get upset when another comes close and may sting | |

| Thanks. They both live in a 1 foot burrow. I couldn't seperate them without tearing apart the cage. They get along great though. He just loves to eat. | |

| I've seen my male emp take a cricket he killed to the female, is this normal behavior? He too keeps her to the back of their tunnel. Seems very dominant, but at least he's feeding her! | |

| Mine [scorplings] fight over the same crickets all the time. One is always last to catch something and then is like a bully and gets a "tail dance" or I guess a "tail whip" battle! Very cute and very funny. He/she usually finds a cricket in the end!!! When I had my male and female in the tank I would "tong feed" but in the end I would just chuck in 2 each! and see who got the item! Cant be too protective all the time xxx | |

| I have 17 in one tank. I put in 10 crickets. wait for them to all be eaten and then add a few more and just wait and see what happens because they arent all hungry at the same time! Also watching for the "feed me" pose also helps me know when to feed again. | |

| No, no, I think you misunderstood. I've actually seen my male emp give a cricket to the female. I didn't ever think that would happen I was watching getting frustrated because he snatched up both crickets I put in there. He had one in claw, one in mouth, caught the third in claw, turned and released it, then turned back again with an open claw, and the female picked up the one he'd wounded, and started munching.
Though I've only seen that once. All the others times he's just eaten everything he gets himself while I watched. | |
