| hi guys, i was doing their weekly misting when i caught one molting into 3i! i hope it's alright and just started recently. the humidity from the spray should help it out. so far four of them had no problem molting into 3i. also pictured is #1, my biggest bicolor. please note that the substrate is not extremely damp. it was just a quick spray. i mainly concentrate it on the edge and it makes a light mist over a larger radius. 2i->3i 3i (hardened) pictures aren't the greatest. i'm using a galaxy s2 8mp. they are decent. | |

| will do and thanks! it should be about a month until i see a 4i in the group you might have saved that molting one by telling me about your loss and misting. i'm not all that worried considering i had a few molt perfectly already. just concerned as to how long its been in the molting process. it should be fine, probably just caught it in the middle. that metal thing i use to lift up hides is a tattoo needle bar with the needles melted off. they work extremely well for checking on them and moving feeders towards the scorpion | |

| Good luck. Molting takes a lot out of them, not your fault sometimes the conditions is right and the scorp decided to molt without having the necesarry energy to do so., | |

| Just apply a few drops on the qtip and spread it where the exo is stuck. Give it an hour or so and if its still in there try to remove it yourself. I had to do this to my H.judaicus and it fine and well. As a amatter of fact olive oil has been my most helpful tool with scorpions. It got my G.ankarana out of a tape a while ago too. | |
