| Definitely an H. paucidens. I thought this might be the case, nearly all H. bicolor sold are actually H. paucidens.
Hadogenes bicolor actually look much more similar to Hadogenes troglodytes.

| Hope the person didnt charge you more since they thought it was a bicolor!
Regardless, they're cool animals. I have six 5th instars that are 2 years old.

| +1 on above.
Be careful... People try to pass one species off as a similar species and charge more a lot of the time. Someone tried to sell me a P. cavimanus as an emp a few days ago and wanted a good amount of money for it because of the import restrictions on emps. I almost bought it anyway, lol, but I wanted emps to teach my girl how to work with scorpions. P. cavi's are too aggressive to start out with.

| She's not what I was expecting then, slightly irritating and slightly funny at the same time. It wasn't very expensive so at least I wasn't overcharged and I don't really mind what she is. The main reason I went for that particular one was because it was one of the few the site said was captive bred and most of the rest were wild caught. Thanks for the clarification! | |
