Thank you very much! You can do it too. Just study the habitats and try to envision your scorp in it. Then decorate, try to see that habitat in your tank. - Callum B wrote:

Thanks very much! The black and red contrast nicely, I am happy with the look. At the moment, she sits on the background of the tank. Moved just a little bit, don't think it will be long before she starts exploring.

| Redid the enclosure... A bit more compact. The stone hide, usurped much of the space so I took a hamer and smased it up. Lessened the sand layer because miss Vader, almost zoomed out of the tank when she was hyper. I almost forget most of my exo terra'have substrate almost level with the doors, so I took care of that. I Made a little crevice and replaced the wood and moss. She is now sitting under the wood. I also cut down on the moss. I like it this way, it's more open. Vader:

| A little update:
I think Vader and I were both a little restless with our enclosure. However, after my latest upgrade, I found less is more with Vader.
She is beginning to settle down, comes out frequently and sits on the backdrop. First she chose to hide between the moss, but after a while she choose my pre dug hide. And is now sitting in it, with a pair of little chela sticking out.
She is more secure in her environement, and feels safe enbough to venture out. She tends to get very nervous, when I open the tank, but doesnt run and hide every time. I hope to achieve a level of understanding her behavior, and I will try in the future to get her to feed from the tongs, that would be so awesome.

| Interesting, I also find that my bicolors are more skittish and nervous than my other Androctonus or any of my other scorpions. | |

| I also find that she is more "daring" than I am used to. Today, I was removing some litter out of the enclosure and she was eating a grashopper at that moment. She moved a little bit, but then went back to eating.
I was picking out little moss twigs and she was very relaxed. I loved seeing that.

| Hey everybody Meanwhile @ Vaders place, I saw a relaxed little Androctonus Bicolor just chilling on the backdrop, I decided to try out feeding her with the elongated tongs. And at first she was startled, but them gently took the grasshopper from my tongs, stung it, and preparing to eat it. The result was my long wanted video capture of an actual sting. I am very exited!!! I have some nice video material which I am editing right now:) keep tuned in;) | |

| A quick question about your A.bicolor. Did you buy it from the polyped guy? If so, do you know if he ships to our country? | |
