| !!!! THIS SCORPION IS ONE OF THE MOST VENOMOUS ON THE PLANET !!!!
Genus: Leiurus Species: Quinquestriatus (Sub-Species: hebreus)
Common Name(s): Death Stalker, Israeli Deathstalker, Arabian deathstalker, Deathstalker,
LOCATION:Africa (Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, Libya, Mali, Niger, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia) and Asia (Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, lebanon, Oman, Quatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen).
Substrate: 3-6 inches of sand moistened as set to dry for optimal burrowing. DRY substrate.
LD value: 0.16 - 0.50 mg/kg!
Type of Scorpion; Dry burower. Does not dig tunnels but will make it's own hides. Usually under rocks.
Adult size: 3.5-4.5 Inches.
Growth: Medium to fast. Usually under a year to mature.
Temp: 80-95F But can handle low temps.
Humidity:55-65(just dry substrate)
Temperament: Can vary but usually very nervous.
Decorations: Like any kind of rock it can dig under to make burrow. Usally a flat rock works best to allow for mating.
Comunal: Yes but if adults. Juveniles tend to canabalize during molting periods.
Housing: Floor space is important If housing one a Kritter keeper can be used i recomend a min of a 5 gallon for 2-3 Lq's and a ten for 5-8. They also like to burrow so a minimum of 3 inches of substrate is required. For hides just throw in rocks large enough to cover the scorpion they will make they're own burrow.

| I own a male and a gravid female that both live in the same 10 gallon with 2 hides and have no problems. When the babies arrive I will seperate them when the time comes. | |

| A few questions since I'm getting 5 of them soon. 1) What would be the smallest sized container that I could house a 3i in? 2) How long does it usually take in between molts if kept at ~80F and fed a cricket once a week? 3) Do you absolutely HAVE to do the wet sand packing thing? Or can I just stick some sand in the enclosure with some broken pieces of a clay pot to dig a scrape under? Thanks | |

| 1. Large sized delicups should be more than enough. 2. Hard to say EXACTLY but 1-2 months sounds about right. 3. You don't HAVE too but they prefer building burrows than hiding under objects. Theyll do it if they dont have a choice but they are less likely to breed like that. Since there not adults I dont see why not. But it really doesnt take a lot of time to pack it. | |

| Large sized deli cups.. About how big are they in inches (diameter/height)? As for #3, I'll just wait until they mature and I can keep them communally in one enclosure to do the sand packing bit. I'm buying the 5 from EVIL_DWELLER on here | |
