i just wanted to know if anyone could help me with two things :

1 how old does a pandinus emperator scorpion have to be to mate

2 how do you tell the age of a pandinus emperator scorpion

1) an adult!
2) you ask the person/place you bought it from to tell you what instar it's at - if they don't know then you're up the creek w/out a paddle on that one

The telson gets darker with age, yes - but it's not how you tell the age of the scorp

You can't tell the exact age of a scorpion by its telson, but you can tell if it's an adult (it will be brown).
